Who are we?
The Yearning for Learning Center for Jewish Studies is a
non-denominational, non-profit regional resource center designed to
work cooperatively with synagogues and communities to give individuals
the opportunity to enhance, strengthen and invigorate their
involvement with Jewish life. A variety of programs are offered
including 1-3 day seminars bringing outstanding rabbis and teachers to
Central Vermont to share their wisdom and knowledge. Students of all
ages learn to enrich their daily lives by connecting with the deeply
rooted wisdom within Jewish tradition. Recent programs have included,
A Taste of Kabbalah, Jewish Dream Interpreation and Bringing Heaven
Down to Earth. Rabbinic support including pastoral counseling,
creating and officiating at lifecycle events, advising, teaching and
leading services is available for individuals and communities.
Private and group classes are offered for Bar/Bat Mitzvah and general
Jewish Studies.
